How to cancel KKBOX

Cancelling does not cut you off immediately. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, so if you have decided not to renew you can cancel straight away without losing anything.

How to cancel

  1. Sign in to the member centre and click “KKBOX plan history”
  2. Under “My plan”, click “Manage plan” → “Cancel subscription”
  3. Pick a reason, enter your password, then click “Confirm cancellation”

Check these before you cancel

You cannot cancel on the day before or the day of the charge. KKBOX suggests doing it three days before the expected billing date, or the day after. Land on those two days and you get charged for another period.

Subscriptions through Chunghwa Telecom, Taiwan Mobile and other carriers have to be cancelled with the carrier — not here.

Other things worth knowing

Days remaining on the account can still be used after cancelling, but they are not refunded.

The same goes for App Store subscriptions on iPhone: cancel in iOS under “Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions”.
