Cancelling does not cut you off immediately. You keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, so if you have decided not to renew you can cancel straight away without losing anything.
Cancel at least one day before your billing date — LinkedIn's own help page is explicit about this. Cancelling on the day itself still gets you charged for the next period.
If you subscribed through the App Store on iPhone, you can only cancel in the LinkedIn app on an Apple device; Google Play subscriptions can be cancelled on the website, in the app, or in Google Play.
InMail and the other Premium features stop at the end of the current period.
